Mdv official announcement is planned for tomorrow It looks like something to bring Mageia community back to Mandriva. I also agree we should not join this : - it's not clear what this entity will be doing and why it is needed - the Mageia.org governance model is good, we don't need an other entity - it's free software so we can already share code with other distributions if needed, without joining a new entity - joining this would confuse people about independance of Mageia So I think we have nothing to gain by joining, and a lot we can lose.
